The PROSISAL CHEMITOOL sisal flap wheel drum is composed of knotted sisal rope, being indicated for polished or brushed surface finishing operations.
The CHEMITOOL sisal flap wheel drum is suitable for polishing large surfaces, allowing to increase the speed of work, in which the focus is on uniformity in the cleaning of the workpiece.
It can also be used to give a brushed finish, when used in a few passes.
Due to its structure, this type of product allows it to adapt to contours, bearing in mind that the product has a loose structure (rope threads) and can break in contact with sharp edges/angles.
Suitable for pre-polishing work, where it is necessary to remove light scratches on the workpiece.
For best performance, we recommend using it at a speed of 15-30 m/s. This ensures the optimal compromise between the material removal rate, surface quality, thermal load on the workpiece and tool wear.
