The CHEMITOOL countersinkers were developed under careful manufacturing processes, in order to provide the professional with an excellent relation of quality and performance in metal drilling. This drill is distinguished by its excellent quality/value ratio.
The HSS CHEMITOOL countersinker is made entirely of high-speed steel of M35 (5% Cobalt) quality, prepared for drilling in metals with a hardness up to 1200N/mm2., according to DIN 335 standard.
The 90º countersinker has as its main characteristic, the reaming, thus allowing the application of a screw or rivet, where its conical head fits correctly in the reamed area, maintaining the uniformity of the surface.

It has a TiAlN (Titanium-Aluminum-Nitride) coating to give it durable and heat dissipating properties.
One of the main advantages of this stepped drill is the faceted shank (3 faces), its helping to maintain pressure on the stepped drill, preventing it from loosening more easily from the bushing clamps.
