- For universal grinding work on components made from aluminium, copper, bronze, titanium and fibre-reinforced plastics. - Particularly recommended for use on titanium alloys. - Ideally suited to use in the aeronautical industry, especially where SiC is the only approved abrasive, e.g. for use on engine components. - Abrasive: Silicon carbide SiC.
Felt wheels and lenses are mainly used peripherally; -Felt wheels with metal inserts (MS) are used for increased stock removal when pre-polishing with diamond grinding pastes.
