- The non-woven abrasive material is arranged in multiple (axial) disc layers. - Since the individual non-woven discs are not interconnected, the abrasive surface adapts easily to different workpiece contours, e.g. when working on profiles or pipes.
- For universal grinding work on components made from aluminium, copper, bronze, titanium and fibre-reinforced plastics. - Particularly recommended for use on titanium alloys. - Ideally suited to use in the aeronautical industry, especially where SiC is the only approved abrasive, e.g. for use on engine components. - Abrasive: Silicon carbide SiC.
