The Pozidriv® profile differs from the Phillips® profile with an additional cross, narrower than the first, displaced by 45° in relation to it and located a little deeper. An additional cross provides better grip of the screw or bolt , which translates into less screwdriver slippage, less damage and longer life of the screws and screwdriver . Better distribution and transmission of energy, aswell as the matching Pozidriv® profile, guarantee slightly faster and safer work than with Phillips® profiles. The Pozidriv® cross profile, like the flat profile, requires an axial clamping force to be applied during the screwing process to prevent the screwdriver from slipping.
