Step Drills HSS-G M2 CHEMITOOL were developed under careful manufacturing processes, in order to provide the professional with an excellent relation of quality and performance in metal drilling. This drill is distinguished by its excellent quality/value ratio.
The HSS CHEMITOOL step drill is made entirely of high-speed steel of M2 quality, prepared for drilling in metals with a hardness upto 800N/mm2. The main function of the step drill is to drill continuously through different scales, thus allowing the professional a variety of drilling diameters in a single tool.
It has a 118° step drill lead angle, for fast entry into the material and good centering power. The spiral-shaped flutes help eliminate chips from cutting, thus facilitating constant entry of the drill into the material and avoiding localized heating.
One of the main advantages of this stepped drill is the faceted shank (3 faces), its helping to maintain pressure on the stepped drill, preventing it from loosening more easily from the bushing
