The HSS CHEMITOOL countersinker is made entirely of high-speed steel of M2 quality, prepared for drilling in metals with a hardnessup to 800N/mm2. The 90º countersinker has as its main characteristic, the reaming, thus allowing the application of a screw or rivet, where its conical head fits correctly in the reamed area, maintaining the uniformity of the surface. One of the main advantages of this stepped drill is the faceted shank (3 faces), its helping to maintain pressure on the stepped drill, preventing it from loosening more easily from the bushing clamps. The use of lubrication in the drilling process will increase the service life and reduce the heating of the drill, this application should not be forgotten when drilling materials with a high hardness and abrasion.
